Hill Country ECS - Research & Consulting is an independent educational consulting firm
dedicated to assisting students, families and others prepare and plan for success in higher
education.
Lynn Byrne, the firm's founder and Director, established this company in 2006 in direct
response to requests from students and families in her community who were seeking direction
and guidance as they prepared for college admissions.
The consultants at Hill Country ECS know that school counselors and parents do their level
best to assist students in this process. But the reality is that college preparation and planning
is only one of the many activities school counselors and parents must work into their busy
schedules; which means that time is a very precious commodity. Working with a consultant
who is knowledgeable about and dedicated to this very specific activity saves students and
families time and insures that they receive the information they need when they need it.
Hill Country ECS assists students and families from all backgrounds (public schoolers, private
schoolers, home-schoolers and others) by providing information and services to support
students and families as they work through the sometimes confusing process of planning and
preparing for college admissions, financial aid, housing, student success, retention and
graduation.
